Lehre und Lehrstruktur:
Der ::digitalpool bietet eine fachgebietsübergreifende Grundversorgung für die Lehre im DV-Bereich. Die Lehre wird im Jahresrhythmus durchgeführt. Im Wintersemester werden überwiegend Einführungs- und Grundlagenveranstaltungen angeboten, im Sommersemester - darauf aufbauend und in Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachgebieten - weiterführende Veranstaltungen (siehe Überblick Lehrangebot).
Anmeldung zu den Kursen
Für die Kurse des ::digitalpools ist keine Anmeldung erforderlich.
In der Regel können immer alle Interessenten in den Kursen "untergebracht" werden. Sollte dies einmal nicht möglich sein, wird noch im selben Semester ein entsprechender Ersatzkurs angeboten.
Services - Ausleihe von Geräten und Grossformatausdrucke:
Im Medienpool des ::digitalpools stehen verschieden Beamer, Kameras, Player und Tonequipment gegen Gebühr zur Ausleihe. Zusätzlich stehen drei Grossformatplotter für Ausdrucke auf verschiedenen Medien zur Verfügung.

Bereitstellung von Ressourcen:
In Absprache können die Räume des :: digitalpools von den Fachgebieten der Kunsthochschule für Lehrveranstaltungen und Workshops genutzt werden.

Courses
Use of the ::digitalpool and its teaching resources is open to all students and staff who wish to gain basic knowledge in the DP area.
Teaching is structured according to an annual plan, based on students’ changing needs throughout the year. The main focus of teaching in the winter term is on the provision of introductory courses which aim to equip students with a sound working foundation in a range of software programmes.
During the summer term, a wider range of more advanced courses are offered by the ::digitalpool. In addition, teaching becomes increasingly tailored to the needs of individual departments and project-related queries.
Course registration
Advance registration for courses offered by the ::digitalpool is not required.
All participants can almost always be "accommodated" in our courses. On the rare occasions when this is not the case, an additional course will be offered to meet the surplus demand during the same term.
Services " Provision of Equipment for Loan and Large Format Printing:
A range of video projectors, cameras, players and sound equipment can be borrowed for a nominal charge from the Mediapool. In addition, three large format plotters can be used to print on different materials.

Provision of Teaching Facilities
By prior arrangement, access to the ::digitalpool’s rooms and resources can also be made available for seminars and workshops held by individual departments.
